Magazine honors Vernon’s in Niles

Wine Spectator Magazine recently announced its 2016 Restaurant Awards, recognizing the best wine selections at restaurants around the world.

Local restaurant Vernon’s Cafe, 720 Youngstown-Warren Road, was recognized with an award in the competition. Vernon’s sommelier and general manager is Dennis Huston, and its chef and owner is Vernon Cesta.

Prize winners are recognized for wine lists that feature a well-chosen assortment of quality wine producers along with thematic matches to menu items in both price and style.
