DUBLIN, OHIO

Lindsay Buchenic became the wife of Joel Kaufman on June 4. The 5:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by Jeff Kniece at WatersEdge Event and Conference Center in Hilliard, Ohio, where a reception followed.

The parents of the bride are Joe and Joann Buchenic of Boardman, and his parents are Jane Kaufman of Ottoville, Ohio, and Todd Kaufman of Rockford, Ohio.

The bride wore an ivory strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, completed with silver embroidery embellished with crystal and glass beads on layers of tulle.

Lindsey Baker served as the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Kathleen, Mary, and Caroline Buchenic, sisters of the bride; Brooke Kaufman, sister of the groom; Dana Phelan; and Ally Brown. Brynn Lutmer, niece of the groom, was the flower girl. The attendants wore light gray dresses.

Phil Palumbo was the best man and was joined by groomsmen Joey Buchenic, brother of the bride; Tyler Growden; Eric Graham; Michael DiBenedetto; Michael Groendyk; and Bret Gage. Lee Ramunno, the bride’s cousin, was the ring bearer.

Mrs. Kaufman graduated with a doctorate in physical therapy from Ohio University and works for OhioHealth at Westerville Medical Campus.

Mr. Kaufman has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and works for DNV-GL in Dublin.

The couple live in Dublin after a honeymoon to Hawaii.
