Singer-songwriter Paul Anka will come to Powers Auditorium on Oct. 12 for a concert of his greatest hits.

The legendary Anka is known for his songs “Lonely Boy,” “Put Your Head on My Shoulder,” “Times of Your Life,” “Diana” and “Having My Baby.”

Tickets are $59, $79, $99 and $115 (Gold Circle) and go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 12 at the DeYor Performing Arts Center box office, 260 W. Federal St.; youngstownsymphony.com; and at 330-744-0264.

Anka’s many songwriting credits include the theme to “The Tonight Show,” as well as Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” and Tom Jones’ “She’s A Lady.”

One of the most-successful artists of his generation, Anka is the only artist in history to have a song reach the Billboard Top 100 in six decades.

The 75-year-old artist launched a North American tour last month that will bring him to dozens of theaters through the end of the year.
