The Portage Summit Field and Stream Club, 8504 state Route 224, Deerfield Township, will host its 2016 Youth Day from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. Youths age 10 to 16 are welcome.

Catfish tournament

Hubbard

The Hubbard Conservation Club, 1760 Wick-Campbell Road, is hosting a catfish tournament from 6:30 to 11:30 p.m. Aug. 20.

Entry fee is $10. First place will receive a payout of 30 percent, and second place will receive 20 percent. All catfish caught will be measured, and the winner will be the participant with the most total inches of catfish.

There also will be a large- catfish pool with a 50 percent payout to the participant who catches the largest single catfish. Entry fee is $4.

Participants must bring their own bait and lanterns. Food and drinks will be sold.
