Poland man arrested after incident at store

BOARDMAN — A Poland man faces charges for shouting profanities at Valley Market Place on Thursday.

The owner of the store located on South Avenue reported a man, later identified as Robert Tinney, 26, of Edgewater Drive, kicking boxes and swearing at customers in the parking lot.

When officers approached the man, he became aggressive and refused to calm down, police said.

Police placed him under arrest for disorderly conduct and obstructing official business. He will appear in court Tuesday.
