OVI checkpoint set up Saturday in Mahoning County

CANFIELD — The Mahoning County Operating a Vehicle Impaired Task Force announced there will be a sobriety checkpoint in the county Saturday to deter and intercept impaired drivers. The exact location of the checkpoint will be announced later today or early Saturday.

Officers will be conducting a roadside check of drivers for alcohol and drug impairment. Saturation patrols will also be conducted throughout the weekend.
