CEO Mohip sets meeting schedule for students, parents

YOUNGSTOWN — Beginning Monday, Krish Mohip, school district CEO, will have a series of student and parent outreach meetings at each of the district’s 13 schools through Aug. 18.

According to a school district news release, Mohip said his purpose for the meetings is to gain “valuable input from students and their parents to ensure that the district is successful in providing the best educational opportunities for all children attending Youngstown City Schools.”

The dates and times for the outreach meetings are:

Monday: 4 to 5:30 p.m., Discovery Program at Kirkmere, 2851 Kirk Road; 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., McGuffey Elementary, 310 S. Schenley Ave.

Wednesday: 4 to 5:30 p.m., Williamson Elementary, 58 Williamson Ave.; 6 to 7:30 p.m., Taft Elementary, 730 E. Avondale Ave.

Thursday: 4 to 5:30 p.m., Martin Luther King Elementary, 2724 Mariner Ave.; 6 to 7:30 p.m., Harding Elementary, 1903 Cordova Ave.

Friday: 4 to 5:30 p.m., Paul C. Bunn Elementary, 1825 Sequoya Drive; 6 to 7:30 p.m., Discovery Transition to Careers at Volney, 2400 S. Schenley Ave.

Aug. 15: 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., Youngstown Early College, Fedor Hall at Youngstown State University, 644 Elm St.

Aug. 16: 5 to 6:30 p.m., East High School, 474 Bennington Ave.

Aug. 17: 5 to 6:30 p.m., Chaney Campus and Rayen Early College, 731 S. Hazelwood Ave.

Aug. 18: 5 to 6:30 p.m., Programs of Promise at Wilson, 2725 Gibson St.
