Veterans will be honored Sunday

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Ward-Thomas Home and Museum, 503 Brown St., Niles, will be the setting of a Heritage Day celebration and open house honoring all veterans from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday. There will be a display of war memorabilia in the Westenfield room and a Wall of Honor boards honoring deceased veterans. Guests also are urged to explore a large display of old tools in the barn at the museum. Cost will be $5, and children under 12 can enter for free.
