Niles man faces charges after crashing ATV in Boardman

BOARDMAN — A Niles man faces a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired after crashing his Yamaha ATV Wednesday night.

Police arrived at a field south of West Midlothian Boulevard where Steven Latimer, 25, of W. Federal Street, crashed his ATV into a tree. Paramedics on the scene reported he had a broken leg and several cuts on his face.

Latimer admitted to having a few beers before getting on his ATV and was transported to St. Elizabeth's main campus for treatment.

Latimer also had an active warrant out of Pennsylvania. He has a pending court date Tuesday.
