Mahoning commissioners approve $1.8M road-paving pact

YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County commissioners this afternoon approved a $1.8 million contract with Stateline Paving LLC of North Lima for the repaving of county roads, with a heavy emphasis on roads in Boardman.

The commissioners also voted to close North Lima Road in Poland between Spitler and Western Reserve roads for about 18 days beginning Aug. 15 to replace a concrete box culvert that carries a tributary of Yellow Creek under North Lima Road.

The commissioners’ next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Craig Beach Village Administration Building, 2538 Grandview Road, Lake Milton.
