Feds reject city's request for corridor funding

YOUNGSTOWN — The U.S. Department of Transportation rejected the city’s application for a grant that would have funded a corridor linking Youngstown State University, downtown, St. Elizabeth Youngstown Campus and Mill Creek Park.

The department turned down the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery grant request.
