Boardman woman faces child endangering charge

BOARDMAN — A township woman faces a child endangering charge after police discovered the poor living conditions of her residence Wednesday evening.

Police visited the residence of Jennifer Marovich, 25, and her 5-year-old daughter on Vineland Place. Officers received a call about the residence littered with trash and a foul odor that could be detected from the driveway.

Police gave custody of the child to her brother while child services investigate. She will be arraigned at Mahoning County Court Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
