W. Kamau Bell to lecture at Stambaugh

YOUNGSTOWN

W. Kamau Bell, the sociopolitical comedian and satirist, and host of the CNN docu-series “United Shades of America,” will lecture at Stambaugh Auditorium on Sept. 14.

Tickets to Bell’s presentation, which will start at 7 p.m., are free and can be obtained at the Stambaugh box office, 1000 Fifth Ave.

The lecture is part of Youngstown State University’s Centofanti Symposium.

Bell, who is based in Berkely, Calif., also was the host of the short-lived FX comedy series “Totally Biased.” He is the American Civil Liberties Union’s ambassador for racial justice.
