Mooney hires new coach and admissions director

YOUNGSTOWN

Carey Palermo has been announced as the new Cardinal Mooney Head Boys’ Varsity Basketball Coach effective August 2, 2016. Mr. Palermo assumes the role from veteran coach Brian Danilov who announced his resignation this past June.

Coach Palermo joins the Cardinals after 6 years as Ursuline High School’s Head Junior Varsity Basketball Coach. Under his guidance, Ursuline compiled a 111-66 record winning District Championships in 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Rebecca Bayley was announced as Director of Admissions and Marketing effective August, 1, 2016.

Mrs. Bayley joins Cardinal Mooney after working for the Archdiocese of New York’s Department of Education where she was Regional Marketing Specialist in the Northwest/South Bronx Catholic Schools and Director of Enrollment
