Mathews school board has special meeting Wednesday

CORTLAND — The Mathews school board will have a special meeting at 5 p.m. Wednesday in the board office, 4096 Cadwallader-Sonk Road, to discuss placing a bond issue and tax levy on the November ballot.

The bond issue would pay for more than $23 million for school building improvements and an additional 0.5-mill tax would provide funds for the acquisition, construction, enlargement, renovation and financing of general permanent improvements.
