Knightline's California dream comes true
The PONY Palomino World Series gets underway Thursday with East Zone champion and local Class B entry Knightline Embroidery one of eight teams in the field ready competing for the title in Santa Clara, Calif.
Knightline, managed by Tom “Juice” Otto, qualified by defeating Worthington-Kittanning Sunday to capture the East Zone championship at Bob Cene Park in Struthers.
Knightline will kick off tournament play at noon when it goes up against Caguas, Puerto, Rico, the Caribbean Zone representative.
