Pymatuning Lake Fest will return

Pymatuning Lake Fest, one of the biggest and longest-running festivals in Ashtabula County, returns for its 34th year Saturday and Sunday.

The family-friendly event takes place at the Pymatuning State Park main beach area, 5354 Pymatuning Lake Road, south of the Route 85 causeway. It features artisans and crafters, continuous entertainment both days, rides and games, inflatable activities, pontoon boat rides provided by Pymatuning Liveries, food concessions, a beauty pageant and contests for all ages.

The Lake Fest draws upward of 15,000 people over the two days. There is a donation requested at the ticket gates for visitors.

Hours are 10 a.m. to dusk Saturday, with a fireworks finale about 9 p.m. Sunday hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. An all-day wristband for most kids’ activities is $7, and most of the other activities are free. All dogs must be on a leash. There are numerous activities and events around the lake at the same time of the festival.
