Kids learn about being a cop today at city academy

YOUNGSTOWN — Kids are getting hands-on experience about life as a police officer today at the Youth Police Academy at Elizabeth Baptist Church.

Officer Jose Morales Jr. is helping instructor Delphine Baldwin-Casey by showing students how a police car works and handcuffs, too.

The academy is running throughout he day today.
