Hollywood kicks off responsible gaming week

AUSTINTOWN — Today, Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course kicked-off gaming education week with local and state officials.

The Austintown racino will recognize the American Gaming Association's Responsible Gaming Education Week from Aug. 1 through Aug. 5 with programs and activities for its customers and the community with a "Get In The Zone" Twilight Zone theme.

"It's a daily commitment for us," said Mike Galle, general manager of Hollywood Gaming.

This is the second-annual gaming education week at Hollywood Gaming, which opened in the fall of 2014 off of state Route 46 with more than 800 video lottery terminals and a one-mile thoroughbred racetrack.
