Buddy Walk set

BOARDMAN — The Down Syndrome Association of the Valley 2016 Buddy Walk, one of more than 250 walk events in cities across the country and around the world this fall in and around October in recognition of Down Syndrome Awareness Month, will take place at 10 a.m. Aug. 13 at The Shops at Boardman Park, 721 Boardman-Poland Road.

Anyone is welcome to attend the walk, developed by the National Down Syndrome Society to promote acceptance and inclusion of all people with Down syndrome. For information, visit www.dsav.org or contact Danielle Procopio at 330-774-3522.
