Alissa Slanina, Austin Clark to wed Oct. 8

Alissa Marie Slanina and Austin Tylor Clark, both of Niles, are engaged and will be married on Oct. 8.

The announcement is being made by the parents of the bride-to-be, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Slanina of Niles. The prospective groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell Angelo of Boardman.

Invitations will be extended for a 10:30 a.m. ceremony at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Park, and reception to follow at Willow Creek Banquet Center in Girard.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Casal Aveda Institute, where she studied managing cosmetology.

Mr. Clark earned a certification in auto collision repair from Mahoning County Career and Technical Center. He works for Andy Pompeii, owner of Arc Equipment in Struthers.
