Ving now is available on the Google Apps Marketplace.

This means with one click, the Youngstown-based communications-engagement platform can be used by an entire business, university or organization.

Before, Ving was just a plug-in, which meant it had to be accessed individually.

“It really helps position us with a large-scale implementation market,” said Tony DeAscentis, CEO of Ving. “You are granting access versus each person creating their own access.”

Ving, which started at the Youngstown Business Incubator about 41/2 years ago, “provides an effective, trackable communications tool that adds exceptional functionality and intuitive features designed to keep employees informed and engaged,” according to a news release.

The new integration also means Ving can be used with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drive to create trackable information packets. Ving also can link with a user’s Google Contacts/Groups.ssp

DeAscentis said the company has worked on getting to the Marketplace for more than a year and learned it met Google’s requirements two weeks ago.

“We were able to get accepted,” he said. “They don’t just accept anyone. You have to develop the application in a way that it seamlessly works with Google.”

The company will reach out to universities, companies and organizations to get them interested in Ving. Ving also will reach out to those who do not use Google Apps.

“It’s really just very exciting for our company,” DeAscentis said of the integration. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for the [Mahoning] Valley.”

Ving is accessible as a business tool app under the subheading of HR/LEGAL in the marketplace. Ving can also be used with any CRM and Project Management apps.

Outside of the marketplace, Ving is available in the Chrome Web Store or directly from Ving’s website.
