SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Nicole Marino of Youngstown State University was the speaker April 12 at a meeting of the Berlin Center Historical Society. Her topic was AmeriCorps, a national program created in 1994 by President Clinton that provides a small stipend to about 80,000 young people each year in return for about a year of work for nonprofit organizations. Marino encouraged society members to continue archiving the community’s history.
