Hubbard police investigating bank robbery

HUBBARD — Police are investigating a robbery reported about 2:15 p.m. today at Cortland Bank on West Liberty Street.

A man wearing a fake beard handed a note to a teller, demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Investigators believe the suspect is a black male about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He reportedly fled the scene in a Chevrolet Envoy.
