Son of Mahoning County judge released to rehab facility

YOUNGSTOWN — The son of Judge Theresa Dellick of Mahoning County Juvenile Court will be released from the county jail to the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic Tuesday morning.

Visiting Judge Michael Nunner of common pleas court ordered John Dellick to reside in the clinic under electronically monitored house arrest, with release privileges to attend classes at Eastern Gateway Community College.

The visiting judge released the 21-year-old Dellick after a probation-violation probable-cause hearing this afternoon.

Dellick had been placed on probation after a 2014 aggravated-assault conviction.

The Ohio Adult Parole Authority had booked the younger Dellick into jail Thursday after he was cited April 20 by Mill Creek Park police for marijuana possession and littering.
