Final Sauce and Songs of the season

YOUNGSTOWN

The final Sauce and Songs event of the season hosted by St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., will be a benefit for the Youngstown Connection’s trip to the Vatican in June.

Proceeds from the May 1 spaghetti dinner will assist the group, directed by Dr. Carol Baird, in raising funds for the opportunity to perform in Rome.

Spaghetti dinners will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the social hall. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Carryouts are available, and containers will be provided.

A concert will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the church featuring area cellist, Franciscan priest Father Vit Fiala, and members of the Dana Chamber Orchestra. The classical music program will include works by Hayden, Schubert and others. The concert is free and open to the community.
