Brownlee Woods Neighborhood Association meets Thursday

YOUNGSTOWN — Brownlee Woods Neighborhood Association will meet Thursday at Faith Community Church, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd. Refreshments and social time will begin at 6 p.m., and a business meeting will follow at 6:30.

Guest speaker will be Councilwoman Basia Adamczak, D-7th. Information about a Youngstown trash-removal program and the community police program will be shared during the meeting.

The group is planning a cleanup day on Sheridan Road, and those who wish to volunteer can meet at the intersection of Everett Avenue and Sheridan at 9 a.m. May 7.

The organization will also host its third annual Spring Car and Motorcycle Show from 2 to 5 p.m. May 15 in the church parking lot. For information call 330-277-8229. The group’s meetings are open to the public.
