2 OVI Mahoning County checkpoints set up this weekend

CANFIELD — The Mahoning County OVI Task Force, in conjunction with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, is conducting two operating-a-vehicle-while-impaired checkpoints this weekend. Officers will be conducting roadside checks of drivers at the two locations for alcohol and drug impairment. Details of specific times and locations will announced at a later time.

In addition, police officers from participating agencies of the task force will be conducting saturation patrols in various parts of the county throughout the weekend.
