• Guardian Angels of Ohio, a volunteer program of Trumbull County Probate Court, is looking for new volunteers. Angel volunteers receive training to become advocates who reach out as friends to seniors who may need a friendly phone call, a visit in a nursing home or a visit at home. Angels also are involved in planning special events for seniors such as health fairs and Make a Difference day projects. • Niles S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 14 E. State St., offers a $3 lunch each Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and bingo follows from 1 to 2:30. Bingo cards are 25 cents each. Zumba Gold, a version of the exercise dance class designed for older adults, will be offered at 1:15 p.m. every Thursday. Each class is $1. The Social Outreach program of S.C.O.P.E. of Trumbull County offers support and connects senior citizens to affordable resources for chores, personal care, transportation, financial issues, finding housing and more. David Raach, S.C.O.P.E.’s Social Services Outreach director, will provide a program from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday. Appointments are recommended but walk-ins will be accepted.
