YOUNGSTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fulton Jr. of Youngstown celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Saturday with a family dinner at their home, hosted by their children.

Their children are Frederick Jackson of Columbus; Dr. Debra Fulton of Toledo; Sandra and Mark Britt of Youngstown; and Rosemary Fulton of Washington D.C. The family includes three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The former Mattie P. Garrett and Mr. Fulton were married April 23, 1956, at the home of the Rev. Samuel Hudson in Youngstown.

Mrs. Fulton worked for Forum Health Northside Medical Center and retired in 2007 as a certified registered central service technician. She was a member of Soul Saving Station Church and was secretary of its Women’s Day Missionary Program. She also is a member of International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management.

Mr. Fulton was a U.S. Army veteran and served from 1953 to 1955 in the Korean War. He was employed at Youngstown Sheet and Tube in Youngstown and Campbell where he worked as a bricklayer, truck driver and patcher. He retired in 1983. After retiring he worked part-time at Diamondhead Nursing Home. He is a member of American Association of Retired Persons.
