Candace Barak, John Stefancin to wed June 4

Announcement of the forthcoming marriage of Candace Marie Barak and John Joseph Stefancin is being made by their parents.

The future bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barak of Poland. Her fianc is a son of Grace Stefancin of Champion and the late James Stefancin.

The couple are planning their wedding to take place June 4. Invitations will be extended for a reception that evening at The Lake Club.

Miss Barak graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nurse anesthesia. She is employed as a nurse anesthetist at the Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman.

A graduate of YSU with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a medical degree from the University of Toledo School of Medicine, Dr. Stefancin completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Cleveland Clinic, and then he completed two orthopedic fellowships. He is in practice locally at University Orthopaedics.
