Neil Simon’s “The Sunshine Boys,SDRq directed by Marlene Menaldi Strollo, at the Victorian Players Theatre, 702 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Auditions will take place at 6 p.m. Sunday at the theater. “Sunshine Boys” replaces “Same Time Next Year” on the schedule. Auditionees who cannot attend Sunday can call Strollo at 330-533-8789 to make other arrangements. The cast requires five men, who can play age 30 to 70, and two women, who can play age 20 to 55. Auditioners will be asked to read from the script.

“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,SDRq directed by Michael Cavalier, New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa., auditions from 6 to 8 p.m. May 2 and 3. Roles available for adults and a children’s choir age 8 to 12. All those auditioning should be prepared to perform a vocal selection of their choice with a CD (music only, no recorded vocals), sheet music (an accompanist will be available) or sing a cappella.
