The Rev. Nicholas Shori dies at 68

YOUNGSTOWN — The Rev. Nicholas Shori, longtime director of the Office of Evangelization in the Diocese of Youngstown, died today at the age of 68.

Father Shori also was involved in the Parish Implementation Plan from 2010-12 that saw the downsizing from 113 parishes to 87 in Mahoning, Trumbull, Columbiana, Ashtabula, Portage and Stark counties.
