Rescue Mission hosts volunteer recognition event Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN — All volunteers at Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley are invited to a volunteer-appreciation event from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the mission, 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

The event will be in the dining hall. No reservations are required. Free parking is available in the lot across from the mission. Current and past volunteers are invited to visit with staff members, tour the building, watch a short program and share in a meal.
