The Make Youngstown event begins at 10 a.m. today at the Youngstown State University Williamson College of Business.

The event, hosted by America Makes, the Youngstown Business Incubator and YSU, will showcase local businesses developing or using advanced technologies that align with the “maker movement,” such as 3-D printing, interactive software, laser cutting and virtual reality.

Make Youngstown will continue from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.

An open panel discussion with local entrepreneurs and “makers” will take place from 1 to 2:30 p.m. both days. The two-day event is free.
