The Spartans laid down 14 hits to beat the Cardinals. Lou Cardona, Gavin Strines and Luke Cardillo each had three hits including a double. Coleman Stauffer had two RBIs on three hits. Winning pitcher Jared Jay scattered five hits over six-and-two-thirds innings. Joe Machuga collected two hits for Canfield.

STRUTHERS
Geno Barricella, Garrett Pitts, Damien Coleman and Tre Martin all had two hits for Niles. Barricella and Coleman each had two RBIs. Niles was paced on the mound by Tyler Srbinovich’s five innings (three runs, seven strikeouts). JD Hall had two hits for Struthers.

For Campbell, Mike Jones struck out 10 and walked one, while allowing four hits and one run. Yianni Koullias had two hits and scored a run for the Red Devils.

BELOIT
The Cardinals broke a 2-2 tie in the sixth inning to win the game. Brennen Olesh had two hits and scored three runs for West Branch. No stats were reported for Mooney.
Howland 4, Warren Harding 3, 9 innings
HOWLAND
The Raiders were the first team to score in extra innings, but it was the Tigers who eked out the win. The Tigers’ Nick Badenjek had three hits, including a double and Craig Lewis had two RBIs on two hits. Nate Leventis earned the win by working a scoreless inning with no hits or walks and two strikeouts.
Hubbard 14, Garfield 2
AKRON
Jaime Thomson notched three hits and two RBIs for Hubbard. Brett Lopuchovsky, Ryan Love, Colin Shinosky, Anthony Laird and Kent Krynovich all had two hits each. Love and Krynovich also had three RBIs each, while Shinosky and Laird had two RBIs apiece. Ryan Halavick went four innings on the mound for the Eagles to earn the victory.
Akron SVSM 4, Ursuline 3
AKRON
St. Vincent-St. Mary won in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the seventh. Gianni Quattro notched two doubles and one RBI for Ursuline, while Logan Pullin had two hits, including a double and one RBI.

South Range 10, East Palestine 3
EAST PALESTINE
Brandon Youngs had three hits including two doubles for the Raiders (5-6, 1-1 Inter-Tri County League Red). Brycen James had two hits and scored three runs. Winning pitcher Greg Dunham allowed one hit in five innings. He struck out eight and walked three. For the Bulldogs (2-6, 1-3), Marshall Huddleston had three hits including a triple and a run scored.
Columbiana 7, Lisbon 4
LISBON
Five runs across the final three innings of the game did the trick for Columbiana. The Clippers’ Josh Herbert collected three RBIs off two hits and Keenan Green had three hits. Mitch Davidson was the winning pitcher as he allowed three earned runs on seven hits and two walks with seven strikeouts. Avery Andric had two hits and scored two runs for Lisbon. The two teams meet again today and should Columbiana (7-3, 5-0) win, they will earn a share of the ITCL White Division title.

MINERAL RIDGE
Winning pitcher Tyler Barone (3-1) scattered five hits, walked four and struck out six. Nate Solak had three hits and scored twice for the Rockets (3-2, 2-1 ITCL Blue). Jake Maszczak had two hits. For the Rams (2-5), Mac White and Aaron Frantz each had two hits. Mike McLean hit a RBI double.

Eric Ostrowski went all five innings for Jackson-Milton, striking out 12 and allowing just one hit. Ostrowski also had three hits and two RBIs for the Bluejays. Justin Rentz had two hits and three RBIs and Clayton Maskarinec had a hit and one RBI.

NEW MIDDLETOWN
Michael McDonough tossed seven shutouts innings for Crestview, scattering five hits while walking none and striking out 13 in an 87-pitch performance. The Rebels scored in the sixth when Joel Fitzsimmons lead off the inning with a single and stole second. Kaden Davis then singled, and with runners on second and third, Devin Turvey had a sacrifice fly to plate the games first run.
Western Reserve 5, McDonald 4, 8 innings
BERLIN CENTER
Dominic Velasquez went 5 for 5 for Western Reserve as it edged McDonald in extra innings. Jeep DiCioccio went six innings and allowed three runs for Western Reserve. Walker Marlowe came on to notch two scoreless innings and earn the win. Joe Sudol and Ben Carkido each had two hits for McDonald.
Mathews 11, Maplewood 0
CORTLAND
Mathews (8-1, 6-1) piled on six runs in the fifth inning to invoke the mercy rule. Bryan Oatridge, Anthony Oulton, Ian DeGaten and Rob Helmick each had two hits and Kolan Elsner hit a double. Jordan Brown picked up the win with two strikeouts and no walks in four innings.

Winning pitcher Kayla Troxil scattered five hits, struck out eight and walked none. She also hit a RBI double. Ally Sammarco had three hits and scored three runs while Sydney Fabry tripled.

Sara Price had three hits to drive in three runs for the Tigers. She also scored twice. M. Maze and R. Litz each had two hits, with Maze driving in two runs. For the Raiders, M. Annadono, T. Long, K. Rose and C. Emch had hits.

Molly Williams, Amber Ricci, Megan Turner, Alex Steigerwald and McKenzie Zigmont each had two hits at the plate for Champion (8-1, 6-0 All-American Conference Blue). Zigmont pitched four strikeouts and two walks. Zigmont and Ricci hit doubles. Turner and Mulvain added two RBIs each, and Zigmont had four. For Brookfield, Kenyana Ashley doubled.

For Fitch (3-6), Lainie Simons had a single, was hit by a pitch and scored two runs. Alex Franken doubled and added an RBI. Simons turned a double play in the third inning, and Emily Haggerty caught a foul pop-up on a suicide play in the seventh inning. Kaycee Ollis and Aliyah English each hit two singles for Louisville (7-4).

Addy Jarvis struck out 12 and allowed just one hit to pace the Eagles past Edgewood. Annie Zagorec went 2 for 3 with three RBIs and Emma Wukelich had a hit, scored two runs and had two RBIs. Kayla Chmelik, Hannnah Roose and Sophia Madeline also all had two hits apiece for Hubbard.

The Rams’ Kim Schilling got the complete game victory, giving up an earned run while striking out seven. Ariel Laneve hit a homerun and a single while getting two RBIs.

Cheyenne Titus was the winning pitcher with 14 strikeouts and two walks. She allowed four hits in seven innings. She also had four hits at the plate and scored one run. Rachel Ward and Kerrigan McDermott contributed one RBI, and Olivia Sanson, Kendra Kelly and Ward added a run each. For Western Reserve, Maddie Krietzburg had four strikeouts and two walks. At the plate she hit a two-run homer. Maia Cormell contributed two singles.

SPRINGFIELD
Leading hitters for Springfield (6-3, 2-1 ITCL Red) were Jacqueline Kish and Nikki Bovo with two singles apiece. Josie Applegarth added a triple and Mariah Johnson, Kaelen Yemma and Marlie Applegarth each hit singles to round out an eight hit attack. Applegarth took the complete game loss for the Tigers. Applegarth allowed eight hits, struck out eight and walked none. Crestview (3-1) was led by third baseman Trinity Boston who hit two doubles and a single. Boston drove in three runs and scored twice. Autumn Lindsay pitched the complete game for the Rebels. Lindsay struck out one and walked none.

EAST PALESTINE
Six different South Range (10-2) batters had multi-hit performances to rout East Palestine (1-8). Morgan Smith hit two doubles. Codi Taylor and Felecia Gaeta each hit a double. Morgan Czopur, Caragyn Yanek and Lydia Baird each had two hits. Yanek was the winning pitcher with 12 strikeouts while allowing three walks and two hits.
Beaver Local 9, Salem 1
EAST LIVERPOOL
Beaver Local’s Bobbie Thiess limited Salem to four hits while striking out nine. Leah Pancake, Jordan Simpson and Bailee Rinestine had two hits each for the Beavers. Salem’s Kaitie Moore had two doubles. Bailee Thorn and Clara Janofa had the Quakers’ other two hits.

CORTLAND
Olivia Outen and Lena Hoff led Mathews (8-0) by going a perfect 3-for-3. Bailey Hall, Maitlin Simon, Meredith Grimes and Nicole Watts each had two hits for the Mustangs. Hall was the winning pitcher, allowing two runs on three hits and a walk while striking out one through six innings.
