Civic Music Association reveals its 2016-17 lineup

The Warren Civic Music Association has unveiled its 2016-17 concert series.

Shows will include Let’s Hang On!, Sept. 13; Roc-OpraNatra, Oct. 18; Home Free, Nov. 11; Christmas Wonderland, Dec. 7; Dublin’s Irish Tenors and Celtic Ladies, March 13, 2017; and “The Inspiration of Broadway” with Ernie Haase and Signature Sound and J. Mark McVey on April 27, 2017.

All shows begin at 7 p.m. and are at W.D. Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave.

Season tickets are $92, or $102 after May 31. Youth season tickets are $40, or $45 after May 31. Tickets will be mailed in late August.

Here is a closer look at the lineup:

Let’s Hang On! (Sept. 13): A six-person vocal group, plus a stage band, harmonize in a salute to pop music of the 1960s and the Four Seasons.

RocOpraNatra (Oct. 18): Three great voices and three genres of music come together in a blend of melodies and memories from Sinatra to Rod Stewart, Elvis to Josh Groban and Dean Martin to Bocelli.

Home Free (Nov. 11): This five-part country-style a capella group was crowned Season 4 champions of TV’s “Sing-Off.”

Christmas Wonderland (Dec. 7): Featuring Christmas favorites, festive production numbers and dazzling costumes and scenery, this all-ages celebrates the joy of the season with a cast of 24 singers and dancers.

Dublin’s Irish Tenors and Celtic Ladies (March 13, 2017): A mix of Irish classics, pop, classical and jazz standards.

“The Inspiration of Broadway” (April 27, 2017): This tribute to Broadway includes J. Mark McVey of “Les Miserables,” and features inspirational classics such as “Climb Ev’ry Mountain” and “Ol’ Man River.”
