Haefke inducted into HOF

Austintown’s Teri Haefke recently was inducted into the Ohio USBC Women’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame for superior performance.
Haefke has won seven state titles, had the highest average in the state for seven consecutive years (2002-09) and had the highest average in the nation on three occasions.
Her seven state championship titles include Ohio USBC WBA Queens (2004, 2006, 2012). She was the first to win three times.
She was the Ohio Championship Tournament All Events Actual winner in 2006 with 2,134 and again in 2007 with 2,170.
Haefke was a member of the Ohio Championship Tournament Team Actual in 2006 and Ohio Championship Tournament Doubles Actual in 2007.
Haefke’s high average in the nation awards were earned during the 2002-03 season (238), 2008-09 season (239) and 2010-11 season (242).
Her average has been above 200 for 15 years.
She has rolled 40 300 games and 20 800 series. She threw consecutive 300 games on Feb. 24, 2014. She has rolled 370 700-plus series.
Haefke was the Professional Women’s Bowling Association Regional Rookie of the Year in 2000. She won the PWBA Johnstown, PA Open in 2003, was fifth in the PWBA Regional Berkley Springs (W. Va.) Open, was first in the Full Circle Sports Mixed Doubles in 2002, second in 2011 and first in the Full Circle Sports Trio in 2011. She won the TNBA Reed-Hawthorne in 2011.
She was a member of the Ohio USBC WBA All Stars in 2007 and 2008 and Ohio USBC WBA Bowler of the Year in 2012.
She has been champion of the Youngstown Women’s Masters, the Warren Women’s Masters and the Summit County Queens in 2011 and 2012.
Haefke is a member of the Youngstown-Salem USBC WBA.
