Monday Night Writers group meets April 25

CANFIELD

The Monday Night Writers group is set to meet from 6 to 8 p.m. April 25 at Tequila Jalisco Mexican Restaurant, 583 E. Main St.

Published and unpublished area writers are invited to attend the group that is led by professional writer Nancy Christie, author of “Traveling Left Of Center And Other Stories.”

Newton Falls poet releases new book

Bottom Dog Press is releasing a new book of poems, “Both Shoes Off,” by Jeanne Bryner of Newton Falls. It is the author’s seventh book of poetry.

Along with her poetry, Bryner is a practicing registered nurse. Judy Waid, a nurse from Howland, provided the cover art for Bryner’s new book.
