TUESDAY

Girard Herb Society will meet at 6 p.m. at the Army Navy Garrison. Jessica Sowers will discuss foods to increase energy and boost the immune system.

Trailwood Gardeners will meet at 11:30 a.m. for a tour and lunch at the Butler Art Museum.

THURSDAY

Coitsville will gather at 2 or 3 p.m. at Lutz Greenhouse and Dutch House Restaurant.

Johnny Appleseed will meet at 7 p.m. for a presentation by Daniel G. Yoho and Kevin Crump on Davey Tree Expert Co. Hostess is Barb McGarry, co-hostess is Harriet Deeds, and door prizes are by Kathi Rayburn.

Garden Club Of Ohio will have its spring district meeting April 29 at the Davis Center in Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. GCO Youngstown District is hosting, and DJ Matijevic, Youngstown district director, will preside. Robin Liddle and Cleo Lehman will speak. Programs will include “Butterflies, Bees, GMOs and Me,” and “Wake up Spring” in the afternoon. Cost is $20 for GCO members and $25 for nonmembers. Payments are due by April 24.
