Girl, 4, shot and killed in NE Philly

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Authorities say a 4-year-old girl has been shot and killed in northeast Philadelphia.

Police said the girl was shot in the face in a home in Upper Kensington shortly before 2:30 p.m. today.

Officials said she was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.

Police said a weapon was recovered and no arrests were immediately made.
