Rust Belt market is set for Saturday

Rust Belt Made’s Makers Market, an event that will feature Rust Belt makers, artisans and small businesses, will host a pop-up market from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Soap Gallery, 117 S. Champion St.

The event is sponsored the gallery, as well as 1820 House Candles, ala Jamie, Messie Jessie’s Whimsical Bakery, Stone Fruit Coffee Canfield and Lola Beans Boutique, which also will be market vendors.

Other vendors set to participate include Vintie Design Co., White Church Co., Junque, Hawks Homestead, Papyrusaurus, Big Green Thing Food Truck and the Main Street Gallery.

Becky Keck of Students Motivated by the Arts will create terrariums with 30 guests at the event. Due to the limited supply, they will be first come, first served.

Donations to SMARTS will be $15 for the small terrariums and $20 for large versions.
