Man booked into jail on robbery warrants through Liberty police

LIBERTY — A man was booked into the Trumbull County Jail on Thursday evening in connection with reported thefts from Walmart on Goldie Road.

Township police issued a warrant for the arrest of Darnell Crayon, 22, of Youngstown in February. He faces two felony robbery charges.

Police accuse Crayon of taking about $25 worth of electronic items from the Walmart on Feb. 28. A store security employee told police Crayon had punched him in the face after a previous instance of theft Feb. 26, according to the police report.
