Austintown Bounce hosted its second annual Easter Eggstravaganza party on March 19.

Austintown Bounce partnered with First American Loans to put on an Easter party for the children and families of Austintown. The Easter Eggstravaganza consisted of 5,000 Easter eggs, several prizes to be raffled off and a visit from the Easter Bunny.

“Every child that came in got two tickets each and we had a bunch of prizes. Everything from gift certificates to tickets, to pizza to stuffed animals,” said Bruce Shepas, co-owner of Austintown Bounce.

People starting lining up at 8 a.m. and waited until the doors opened at 9 a.m. to come in and enjoy the party. Children participated in an Easter egg hunt when the party started and then had the chance to play other games and jump on the inflatables after. Between 150 and 200 people attended the event.

“We did this last year as well. This year we did 5,000 eggs, had over 60 prizes and all of them were either donations or our store bought them,” said Jessica Summers, the assistant manager at First American Loans.

The eggs were filled with different small candies for the children to enjoy.

First American Loans put together bags for the guests to take when they entered the building. Each bag was filled with flyers, balloons, candy and other small prizes.

“The kids have a blast and our company, we love kids. I love having the little ones around,” said Summers.

First American Loans and Austintown Bounce wish to continue their partnership for the Easter Eggstravaganza for the years to come.

“I think it was pretty organized, it went pretty well,” said Shepas.
