‘Shave ’n Save’ fundraiser is Sunday

The Mineral Ridge Volleyball Team will sponsor a “Shave ’n Save” event from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Mineral Ridge High School, 1334 Seaborn St.

The event is a fundraiser for Cheyenne Urbach, who is battling stage four cancer. All proceeds will be donated to Urbach and her family to help cover medical expenses.

Guests can pay $10 to have their head shaved during the event and enjoy pizza, drinks and chips; for refreshments only, the cost is $8. A push-up contest, half-court shot contest and more will be offered, and there will be gift-card prizes.
