Organist to accompany 'Seven Chances' film


EAST LIVERPOOL

First United Methodist Church, 200 W. 5th St., will show the 1925 Buster Keaton silent film comedy “Seven Chances” at 7 p.m. April 24.

To recreate the silent film experience, professional theater organist Clark Wilson will accompany the film using the church’s pipe organ. Wilson is an East Liverpool native who is an organ technician/tuner, film scorer and theater organist. For information about the musician, visit www.clarkwilson.net.

The movie is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will be accepted, and a reception will follow the film.
