Angler alert: Lake Glacier restocked with rainbow trout
YOUNGSTOWN — The Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Wildlife this morning restocked Lake Glacier in Mill Creek MetroParks with 2,500 rainbow trout.
The purpose of stocking the lake, which is done every year by the Division of Wildlife, is to provide fishing opportunities to area anglers.
Anglers must comply with the following rules, per the MetroParks:
• State of Ohio fishing licenses are required.
• Foul-hooks are not permitted.
• Limit of five fish per person, per day.
• No fishing is admitted in the area directly adjacent to the Lake Glacier Boathouse.
Division of Wildlife officials and MetroParks police are authorized to check for current fishing licenses and to inspect all fish that are caught, park official said.
