Boardman, Austintown, South Range groups perform at 'JAM' Fest on Thursday in Warren

WARREN — On Thursday, the Boardman High School Jazz Ensemble will participate in the annual Packard JAM Fest at W.D. Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. The concert begins at 6 p.m. and feature high school jazz ensembles from around the area, including Austintown Fitch and South Range high schools.

Boardman’s ensemble is projected to go on stage about 7 p.m. They will be followed by The Big Band Sound of Packard, a professional ensemble in which Boardman High School’s Jazz Ensemble Director Tom Ruggieri will perform. The concert is free.
