Barnes & Noble celebrates Spring Education Appreciation Days

Barnes & Noble will celebrate Spring Educator Appreciation Days through Sunday in stores nationwide, including Barnes & Noble in the Shops at Boardman Park, 381 Boardman-Poland Road.

The program will offer pre-kindergarten through 12th-grade public, private and home-school educators and administrators special discounts, events, sweepstakes and giveaways.

The discounts include 25 percent off list price on most books, gifts, music, DVDs and toys and games for classroom and personal purchase; 10 percent off all Nook tablets; 10 percent off all cafe consumable purchases; and 10 percent off select tech tools.

Additional events for educators at the Boardman store will include a reception from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. today, where educators can learn about programs, pick up support materials and get discounts with an educator card.

An event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday will include product demonstrations, samples and more. For information, call the store at 330-629-9436.
