88 bags of crack, 24 bags of Suboxone found in Youngstown raids

Police found 88 bags of suspected crack cocaine and $3,819 cash while serving a search warrant about 4:45 p.m. Tuesday investigating drug activity at a 4202 Helena Ave. home.

Also found in the home was a loaded .40-caliber handgun that was reported stolen in September 2015.

Arrested on drug and weapons charges was Freddie Robinson, 54, who lists the home as his address, reports said. Robinson was arraigned in municipal court today on charges of trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in marijuana, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Vice officers also served a warrant at a 59 Saranac Ave. home about 6:35 p.m. and found 24 bags of Suboxone, reports said. Taken into custody was Marcus Morgan, 34, who listed the home as his address.

Reports said when police arrived, two of Morgan’s children were in the house with him.
